Setting Your Watch to the Right Time

Update: We’re always open to learning new things, so when we learned about these additional websites, we had to add them to our list. I’m partial to time.is.

Without being set to the right time, a watch is little more than a piece of jewelry. If you’re passionate about watches like the watch valuation experts here at Crown and Caliber, chances are you’re also passionate about setting your watch keeping good time.

  • Time.isNo need to select your time zone. time.is does it for you.
  • The World ClockThis one is notable for having an analog face and a ton of useful information, like when daylight savings begins/ends, the rising/setting of the sun, and other time-related information.
  • Official U.S. time – simply select your time zone to see the official U.S. time as according to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the U.S. Naval Observatory (USNO).

It is easy to become swept away by a watch’s elegance and aesthetics, but you want to be prepared for when someone asks you for the time, as well!
