Rolex Cellini
If you enjoy the heritage and prestige of brands like Rolex but want a unique model, check out the Cellini. Even die-hard Rolex fans often overlook this sophisticated design. The Cellini is the archetype of the classic dress watch. Yet, despite its simplicity and lack of superfluous bells and whistles, it still packs a punch. It was one of the first serial produced wristwatches to receive chronometric certification. At the end of the day, its understated charm transcends all trends and truly withstands the test of time.
Zenith El Primero
In the 1990’s, Zenith developed a special chronograph for the French Ministry of Defense called the Rainbow Flyback. For years, fans of the one-of-a-kind model yearned for something similar. Then, in 2011, Zenith granted their wishes with the introduction of the El Primero Stratos Flyback. This model strikes the perfect balance between sport and sophistication. On the outside, they’ve treated the exterior with a special alloy called Alchron that’s corrosion resistant. On the inside, of course, is the brand’s iconic El Primero movement.
Cartier Ballon Bleu
Cartier’s rich history in the field of watchmaking has resulted in a number of timeless models. Yet, designs like the Ballon Bleu prove that the brand can continue to remain relevant. This newer addition to the Cartier catalog first debuted in 2007. Though it features a distinctly modern design, it still incorporates a number of the trademark elements. Features like the signature blue sapphire crown, sword-shaped hands, and also the Roman numeral hour markers make it instantly recognizable as Cartier.
Nomos Zurich
While Nomos is still a newer brand, it’s quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with. They place utmost attention on crafting each element of their watches by putting them through a rigorous series of tests. The Zurich collection follows the brand’s signature minimalist design principles with a touch of elegance. Due to this dedication, the brand places emphasis on craftsmanship from the inside out. Each model in the Zurich collection comes equipped with the brand’s in-house movement. As a result, they feature an elegant construction that produces a sleek and handsome timepiece.
Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze
Tudor’s Heritage Black Bay Bronze is a unique variation of the brand’s iconic model. In contrast to the original, it features a high-performance aluminum bronze alloy with brushed finishes and a distinctive patina. Yet, it still maintains some of the signature qualities of the Black Bay. The prominent winding crown and snowflake hands have become trademarks of the collection. Additionally, on the inside the Heritage Black Bay Bronze comes equipped with Tudor’s in-house Caliber MT5601 self-winding mechanical movement. It’s a model that perfectly balances modern materials with a classic design.
Breitling Colt
The Colt seamlessly combines some of Breitling’s signature features with a sporty, youthful design. The model has a bold presence on the wrist with Breitling’s prominent unidirectional rotating bezel and trademark rider tabs. Though it draws inspiration from military watches past, it features a modern and robust build. Inside, the model houses the brand’s Caliber 73 quartz movement. Overall, the Colt collection perfectly balances contemporary and classic elements.
