Kobe Bryant, shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, has recently been named as an ambassador for the luxury watch brand, Hublot. Hublot created the King Power Black Mamba to commemorate the announcement. The name of this new line was inspired by Kobe’s nickname, “Black Mamba.” The number 24, the number that Kobe wears on the court, will be placed on the dial of the watch, above 6 o’clock. The colors of the dial are gold and purple, which are the colors of the L.A. Lakers. This new line of Hublot watches is limited to 250 pieces. Hublot is already the official timekeeper for the L.A. Lakers. Kobe Bryant is one of the best players in the league and is often praised for his talent and precise shooting. Hublot claims that Kobe is the perfect addition to their list of ambassadors because of this “superiority and perseverance.” Kobe joins a list of extremely successful athletes who are also Hublot ambassadors, such as Dwyane Wade, Usain Bolt, and Diego Maradona.
