First-Hand Look at Watches From Baselworld 2013

We have had a great time at Baselworld so far! There so many many beautiful watches on display and so many talented people to meet. We have taken several images and posted them on Twitter and Instagram. But for all of you how are not immersed in the social media world, we don’t want you to be left out! Here are some of the images we have taken from our trip.

And off to Baselworld we go!

Baselworld cliff notes for the press.

Breitling had the coolest display at Baseworld 2013. That is a real saltwater fish tank!

Patek Philippe showing of their innovative movements.

Many of the watches displayed at Patek Philippe’s booth are clearly striving to appeal to the Asian market. Interesting dial design on this one!

Enjoying our time at Zenith’s headquarters!

1969 Zenith El Primero

Everyone is talking about this Tudor Heritage Chrono with its NATO strap!

Here is the incredible Blancpain Villeret 6685!

Apparently, the guys at MB&F do more than make watches. They also make music boxes!

Movement from the MB&F Thunderbolt

The new high frequency (72k a:h) 10HZ Breguet.

Patek Philippe 5077

No matter how many times the HYT associate explains it to me, I will never understand how this watch works.

This is one of our favorite watches from the week! It’s the Patek Philippe 5160 Rose Gold.

Here is the new Blancpain 50 Fathoms 5018-1230-64. 55.65mm case!

And here it is… the new Rolex GMT Rolex II

The Rolex Deep Sea on display at Baselworld.

Although it is not receiving nearly the amount of attention it got at last year’s Baselworld, the Rolex Sky-Dweller is proudly displayed.

Urwerk

Arnold & Sons is one of the most under-appreciated brands.

We had the opportunity to meet with CEO Beat Haldimann.

The impressive TAG Heuer display.

As if the watches weren’t beautiful enough, the view of Zurich is breath taking!

Our time at Baselworld 2013 has been incredible! We have seen so many remarkable luxury watches and have met some true watch enthusiasts. We have some really great plans in store for the next couple of days so keep checking back for updates!

Crown & Caliber

Crown & Caliber is the smartest way to buy or sell a luxury watch. As an exclusively online marketplace for pre-owned timepieces, Crown & Caliber exists to ensure that when it comes down to the final transaction, buyers and sellers can both win. For sellers, we do all the legwork of valuating, marketing, and selling—for buyers, we put trust back into the act of purchasing sight-unseen with our servicing and authentication process. By emphasizing transparency and placing value on quality, Crown & Caliber has become the preferred marketplace for watch collectors and casual enthusiasts alike.
