Why Crown & Caliber?

At Crown & Caliber, we believe that our reputation and our business is only as good as our last sale. We follow a painstaking approach to make sure a watch is up to our standards before listing it on our site. And we believe that’s what sets us apart from other online retailers – it’s the value we add and the security we provide by making sure your watch is not only 100% authentic, but that it’s in the best possible condition when it gets to you.

1. Authenticate

Fraudulent watch manufacturing has become so sophisticated that even the most experienced watchmakers often cannot spot a fake without opening the case back. We provide a thorough authentication of every watch’s exterior and interior parts so that C&C buyers always get the real thing.

2. Service

Prior to listing a seller’s watch, our professional watchmakers use state-of-the-art equipment to clean, repair, and refinish the watch. This can include a full disassembly and overhaul service, which would potentially cost thousands of dollars and months of waiting time otherwise. The result: a watch that functions and appears brand-new.

3. Certify

Once authenticated and serviced, each watch undergoes a 45-point certification and inspection process. We check for water tightness, accuracy, and functionality, as well as test the performance measures of all complications. Each watch sold is C&C Certified Authentic, which gives an extra measure of confidence to the buyer.

4. Warranty

Crown & Caliber offers the leading warranty in the industry. While many watch sellers offer ‘warranties,’ their terms are extremely limited. Our comprehensive, full-year warranty means buyers can buy with confidence, and sellers can enjoy a higher selling price.
