Bonnie & Clyde Auction

Infamous outlaws Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, who both died on May 23, 1934 from police gunfire, are still making headlines 78 years after their death. Bonnie and Clyde and their gang, known as the “Barrow Gang”, are most famous for their 10+ bank robberies during the Great Depression.

This Sunday, September 30, in New Hampshire, the public will get the chance to bid on some of the couples “tools” that helped them carry out their many robberies. Included in the list of items will be Clyde Barrow’s Elgin pocket watch that he was carrying on him the day of his death. Officials state that they expect to get between $50,000 – $100,000 for this watch. Bonnie and Clyde were considered heroes in their day, rebelling against law enforcement and banks, who were considered the enemy. Many view Bonnie and Clyde as “doomed lovers” and view their life and death together as a tragic romance. These feelings will no doubt encourage bidders to bid high prices at this auction.
