A Brief History of Wolf

Wolf has been one of the premier producers of watch and jewelry accessories for nearly 200 years. When Philipp Wolf established his namesake brand in 1834, he was working as a silversmith. He discovered his creations became more popular when he presented them in unique boxes. Soon, he began selling more boxes than silver. So, he shifted focus and started designing sophisticated cases that were not only visually stunning but also protected precious keepsakes.

The company has continued to stay in the Wolf family for five generations. Over the years, they’ve remained firmly rooted in tradition while perfecting their craft with emerging technologies and trends. The Wolf 1834 collection, aptly named for the year of the brand’s founding, is a culmination of Wolf’s 184 year journey in the production of fine accessories.

The 1834 collection epitomizes the brand’s ability to marry form and function. The pieces combine carefully handcrafted wood elements with display glass, resulting in handsome cabinets and safes that both showcase your beloved watch collection and keep it secure. Each 1834 cabinet and safe is designed and constructed in the USA, upholding the most strict quality standards with certification by Underwriters laboratory’s toughest tests.
